I found Finlandya by accident when my old Toyota Avensis suffered a complete gearbox failure on the outskirts of Glastonbury. Rob kindly recovered my car and got me a far better price for it than I would have got selling it for scrap. Consequently I’ve been using Finlandya for my new vehicle, a Toyota Estima. They recently got it through its MOT and were able to source the required parts quickly, despite it being a Japanese import. Rob suggested I wait until next year before having the remaining advisories addressed, as they were quite minor. Less scrupulous garages may have done otherwise in order to make more money. The whole team at Finlandya are really friendly and helpful, and I’ll definitely be recommending them.Posted on Google

Nick Harding399 days agoHolidaying in Glastonbury, an amber engine warning light appeared: "You may continue to drive but the car may switch to 'limp home mode'" - not the message you want when home is 640 miles away! The nearest Land Rover dealership wanted 5 hours of preliminary testing/analysis at £120 per hour before even starting repairs! Finlandya, nearby, was recommended by our caravan site and from arriving to leaving I thought I had discovered paradise: readiness to be immediately involved, reassuringly professional, diagnosis done promptly and repair programmed and completed well before our return journey! If it wasn't so far away they'd get all my work: I thought of kidnapping Phil and taking him home in the boot but I wouldn't be able to live with depriving Somerset of his services. BravoPosted on Google
Bryan Moody466 days agoCannot recommend this garage enough. Rob and his team pulled out all the stops to get me back on the road. Brilliant service and thanks againPosted on Google

Ms1 Coys762 days agoEpic garage. Everyone from Rob to Dorcas to Phil and Tim. All really helpful, well informed, considerate people and very reasonable. They helped me navigate endless issues with a Jaguar I bought from another business local to Glastonbury, even acting as a go between for me to help me negotiate getting work done that the place I bought the car from should have done prior to selling me the car. Thanks againPosted on Google
Fiona Kirton768 days agoExcellent service, car went to them via AA recovery as I had been recommended Finlandya Custom, because the fault was difficult to diagnose. They identified the problem and fixed it quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend.Posted on Google

Gareth Lewis1522 days agoTaken a few weeks to write up this review... at Glastonbury for the festival and our clutch stuck and needed the slave replacing. We were recommended Finlandya by the RAC. We have a young family and arrived on a hot day and they were incredibly accommodating at a) having the kids around and b) trying to get our car fixed as quickly as possible so we could take it to the festival. The repair was done efficiently and at a reasonable price and no problem since so obviously to a great standard. Can highly recommend them - in what must also be the most beautiful setting and stylish building I've ever come across in a vehicle repair/bodywork company!Posted on Google
Mark Ty-Wharton1529 days agoMy wife is ill and has a lot of hospital appointments in Bristol. With all the stress of cancer I had totally forgotten to renew my MOT. Luckily these guys fitted my van in on Thursday and Rob said it sailed through. It’s nice to find such genuine people who are willing to help out in a crisis. I haven’t used this garage since they mended the clutch on our Peugeot about 10 years ago. And I remember he did everything he could to get our old banger back on the road. Life has two sides to every story. I think you get good people and bad people. I can see Rob is a good person and many of my friends recommended I use him. Thanks again guys we can’t be without the van at the moment and you’ve really helped us out when it matters. Best wishes.Posted on Google
Dan Dart1657 days agoRob the owner and the rest of the mechanics were fantastic they rebuilt my engine with a new head gasket and got me on the road as quick as possible thank you very much two all involved. This is the best and most professional garage in GlastonburyPosted on Google

Skye Selway1692 days agoI cannot recomend Rob and finlandya custom enough. I was in a really tricky spot after driving to Glastonbury for a visit in my new (second hand) car whose radiator decided to bust! Rob really took care of me despite Finlandya being back to back busy. Not only did they do a perfect job but they were friendly, genuine people. I trust Rob and his team so much even though I live 1hr 30mins from Glastonbury I will use them whenever possible 👍 Thanks finlandya customPosted on Google

MS2601 days agoCant speak highly enough of the team at Finlandya. They went beyond the call of duty to get me back on the road, allowing me to pick my son up and make the 250 mile journey home. They didn't have the part needed in stock, and I couldn't wait the 24 hours it would take to get it......so the mechanic made and fitted one himself. I wish every company was like this.Posted on Google
Simon Jones2624 days agoHaving just broken down, on the first day of our holiday, the AA towed me to Glastonbury and recommended Finlandya. My car was back on the road the next day, and the price was significantly lower than the other quotes I had received. Honest, genuinely caring, and an excellent service. It should also be noted, that Finlandya also arranged for the free use of a seven seater Landrover Discovery whilst the repair was taking place (so I was able to take my children to Cheddar Gorge as originally planned) and organised somewhere my family to stay the night. Finlandya fixed my car and saved my holiday. Thanks to all the staff at this excellent garage. We live in London but will travel back to Glastonbury for future repairs to my motorhome. Simon Jones. Mareike Martin3330 days agoWe were on holiday and our power steering did not work any more. They checked our car right away and tried changing the seal. As this did not work out, they looked for a spare part, which was quite difficult because we have a European car. We actually were about to depart that day and needed a quick repair. They managed to get someone to install the spare part within a couple of hours and really saved our day! The mechanics were also really nice and made our bad luck a bit easier. Thank you so much again!Posted on Google
Carey Richardson3397 days agoI was introduced to Finlandaya because a lorry drove in to me and the company has an account with them. Immediately, Rob arrived to take me home and take my poor car off to be fixed. A courtesy car was delivered later that day and a week later my car was ready for me to collect. Fabulous service from a great company - who until a week ago I didn't even know existed. I've already booked the car back in for some rust that needs treating. Thank you Rob, Val and everyone there for making a traumatic experience survivable !Posted on Google
